Republic of India or भारत गणराज्य is the seventh largest, second most populous country in the world. The name भारत (Bhārat) or भारतवर्ष (Bhāratvarsha) is derived from an ancient King's name भरत (Bharat) who is said to be the first emperor ruled in India. Since then, many rulers fought and ruled the country contributing to it's global significance. Many travelers believed India to be their ultimate destination including the famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. India, as they say, once used to be called 'The Golden Sparrow'.
The present India depicts the Modern world with it's economic growth skyrocketing since the past two decades competing with any western country in it's development and resources. This blog is being created in order to emphasize 'India' as a region on the Globe and it's geographical importance worldwide. Our Mission is to explore the interior parts of the country and come up with a research about many places having a great historical or mythological importance but for some reason or the other went into an oblivion.
